Hinde Video Services & Photography is located in the shadows of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Central Virginia in Louisa County. For those not familiar with Louisa it is in the middle of a triangle formed by Richmond, Fredericksburg and Charlottesville, Virginia.


Established in 1983, as “Photos by Hinde” I started working with the equestrian community in Virginia Beach on weekends at the local shows.

Upon my retirement from the US Navy in 1986 the love of photography became a full time business. At this time I also added videotaping to my list of services. From 1986 to 1992, most weekends were spent at equestrian events somewhere between Connecticut and North Carolina. I filled the time between horse shows photographing or videoing families, pets, weddings and youth sports.

In 1992 I had the opportunity to move to Cherry Grove Farm in Louisa, Virginia. The area was more centrally located to the mainstay of the business… equestrian events.
